Process AFSS and inspection timing

Inspect

The Annual inspection is a full compliance inspection of all fire measures and assets in the building. Must be carried out no earlier than 3 months prior to submission of AFSS

Report

Compile report and quotation to rectify defects and non compliances with descriptive detail of issues including photos

Approvals

Report reviewed and approved by controlling body or owners corp. Work order for repairs issued

Repairs

Repairs carried out by appropriate fire contractor or system specialist

Certify

Re-inspection carried where alternate contractor used for repairs Signed AFSS prepared and submitted to council

  • Importantly, all defect and conformance issues MUST be resolved in order to certify compliance of the system.
