Hose Reels are intended to provide a first responder with water to fight small fires before they spread or can be used as part of a broader attack plan.

HOW
(What method is used)
Pressurise the hose reel and unroll 5m of hose.
Test water presence and availability. Check for leaks at the stop valve, hose nozzle and reel spindle.
Re wind the hose and depressurise.
Ensure lockoff device and nozzle correctly interlocked.
Per bi-annual however the hose is to be fully unwound and correctly rewound onto the reel.
