HOW

(What method is used)

  • Check of all signage, valves operation and locked position
  • Check of control panel status, batteries install date, panel status and readiness.
  • Check of diesel engine, coolant, oil, lube and fuel levels
  • Isolate alarms and drop the pressure of the supported system to ensure that the pump
    automatically starts, run for not less than 10 mins.
  • Record system water pressures, oil pressure, engine temp, alternator voltage, before, during and after simulated alarm
  • Manually start the pump and test all controls
  • Restore pump to ready state with all locks in place
  • Annual Diesel service of oil, filters, coolant etc
  • Annual service of pump unit, bearings, gland seal etc, inspect and lubricate per manufacturer’s spec
  • Repack pump glands and lubricate/replace bearings where necessary
  • Full 5 year service of diesel engines per manufacturer’s spec
